After last year’s sold out performance, the amazing Bubbleologist is back! Geoff Akins returns to Metropolis Performing Arts Centre on September 11, 2010 with laughs, surprises, joy and inspiration for kids of all ages.

Join Geoff Akins as he uses the art of bubbles to show children that they should always believe in themselves and be confident and persistent in life! Akins has been all over the world, performing over 300 times a year to deliver motivational speeches and “edu-tain.” His show has appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC, and Comcast Cable Television, as well as at science museums in Chicago, Hong Kong and Israel. His repertoire of tricks and special effects includes creating bubbles inside bubbles, amazingly huge bubbles, fog-filled bubbles and so much more! Bubble Wonders offers a great after noon of entertainment and wonder for kids and families

Bubble Wonders comes to Metropolis July 17, 2010 at 1 P.M. and 3 P.M. Tickets are $14 and $12 for kids 12 and under. Tickets can be purchased online at MetropolisArts.com or by calling the Box Office at 847.577.2121.

Bubble Wonders is part of the Family Series at Metropolis, a new series presenting shows that are fun and exciting for the whole family. More family shows in the 2010/11 season include Leonardo’s Surf Rockin’ Family Concert, Be the Groove and Doktor Kaboom!

Metropolis is located in the heart of Chicago’s northwest suburbs in downtown Arlington Heights at the intersection of Campbell and Vail Avenue (111 West Campbell Street).
