Raven Theatre will present a workshop production of Dating Walter Dante, a dark comedy penned by Jon Steinhagen. An award-winning writer and Resident Playwright at Chicago Dramatists, Jon was last seen as Felix Unger in Raven’s hit comedy, The Odd Couple.  A brief post show discussion with actors, director and playwright follows each performance.

About the play

His first wife may or may not have died accidentally. His second wife has been missing for more than a year. The press won’t leave him alone. The police watch him around the clock. With all that going for him, Walter Dante isn’t what one would call a prize catch. Which is why Laura Holloway shocks her friends and ex-husband when she lets it slip that she’s dating Walter Dante.

  1. Please notify me when there is a call for new scripts for a workshop. I have a five-act play, entitled A Panoply of Faces in One Another Arms, that I would like to submit for consideration at that time.
